Would You Give Up Social Media For One Year to Never Pay Taxes Again?

Americans hate paying taxes. Maybe it’s because taxes are one of life’s certainties, along with death.

The latest tax survey from WalletHub revealed that some Americans are so intent on not paying taxes that they would entertain some bizarre options for a tax-free life.

Would you give up social media for one year to never pay taxes again? Fifty-six percent of the 230 people who completed the online survey said they would. Thirty percent of respondents said they would get an IRS tattoo to get out of paying taxes, while 16% said they would name their first-born child “Taxes” for a tax-free future.

More than three in four Americans are more worried about inflation than taxes right now.
72% of Americans think their current tax rate is too high.
28% of people say getting audited is their biggest Tax Day concern, while an equal percentage is concerned about not having enough funds to pay taxes.
