High-value analytical features help practitioners navigate U.S. and global privacy and security law
Feb. 04, 2014
Bloomberg BNA has added several new features to its Privacy & Data Security Law Resource Center, a resource for professionals working in the area of privacy law. The resource center offers a combination of primary sources, including analysis and news, and has been expanded to include new tools and search functionality and more content.
The center features guidance on key issues from leading experts via portfolios, treatises and Insight articles. Search features notify users of the latest rulings, and offer the full text of current and recent federal and state cases. The system's “Chart Builders” let users quickly compare U.S. state breach notification requirements or global data protection requirements.
“Every day, privacy and data security professionals have to navigate a maze of U.S. and international law to keep their clients in compliance,” said Barbara Yuill, managing editor, Privacy & Security Law Report. “We've enhanced the Privacy & Data Security Law Resource Center to help them keep up with the rapidly changing requirements in this growing area, including new tools and expanded content.”
“The data privacy regulatory environment is exploding with new laws and requirements, and the ability to keep one's organization compliant requires the breadth of information and the depth of knowledge that the Privacy & Data Security Law Resource Center offers,” said Amy E. Yates, global lead counsel for data security and data privacy/chief privacy officer, at Avanade Inc. “Its comprehensive and timely coverage helps the privacy professional to stay on top of his or her game.”
